Horse Talk with Simon Jackson first appeared in 2009 in London-based newspapers and websites; offering news and tips from all over the UK while focusing on the interests of racegoers in London and the south east.
Originally initiated as a weekly racing column in the Ham&High Series newspapers, the coverage increased during the 2010 season when the author was formally accredited by the Racecourse Association.
Horse Talk with Simon Jackson then expanded into the Times Series for Horse Talk to appear each week in six paid-for newspapers.
The coverage grew again the next year when the offer was accepted to provide regular copy as the horse racing correspondent for Archant Newspapers’ now closed premier online site London24 before continuing on HorseTalkUK.com.
