ROYAL WINDSOR racecourse is joining in on the wedding celebrations of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at nearby Windsor Castle on Saturday.
Harry and Meghan are set to exchange vows in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle at noon tomorrow where they will became the 16th royal couple to celebrate their marriage at Windsor Castle since 1863.
The ceremony will take place in front of approximately 800 people in the chapel and a worldwide audience of many millions. Immediately after the exchange of vows, the newlyweds will travel by horse and carriage through Windsor. The route includes travelling along the High Street before returning back via the Long Walk at Windsor Castle.
Royal Windsor racecourse is offering spectators the chance to celebrate the occasion by using the racecourse as a base and is operating a royal riverboat service and reserved parking at the course, where there is space for over 3,000 cars.
Guests can watch the Royal Wedding on a giant screen on the famous Windsor lawn where food, drink and children’s entertainment are available.
Racecourse restaurants will also be open serving classic British dishes to celebrate the special day and for those who wish to stay later, the FA Cup will be shown live on the big screen.
